There’s been a recent influx of threads on Reddit calling players to leave a positive review of Battlerite on Steam in preparation for the F2P launch this Wednesday.
I don’t condone brigading, and I don’t believe we should falsely flood the Steam page with positive reviews just to offset the negative ones. However, if you haven’t genuinely reviewed the game yet, now’s the best time to do so.
If you like the game, say so. If you don’t think it’s worth the price tag, go ahead and share that opinion. And if you like the game but hate where it’s going, or if you hated where it was but like where it is now, you should voice that. Just don’t use the “Not Recommended” button to hold the game hostage until Stunlock caters to your every single suggestion — that’s simply childish and short-sighted, especially if you want the game to succeed.
From what I understand, reviews on Steam will be wiped once the game leaves Early Access, so be sure to leave another review once we’re in the New Era!
To leave a review on Steam:
- Launch Steam.
- Navigate to the Library page.
- Make sure you’re in Detail View for the Library page.
- Select Battlerite in the left sidebar.
- Click Write Review in the right sidebar.
Then write your review as either Recommended or Not Recommended. If you’ve already reviewed the game, you can use the same steps to edit your existing review or take it down altogether.
And if you want to take it a step further, head over to the Battlerite reviews page and mark the genuine reviews as Helpful and the childish ones as Unhelpful!
